This Privacy Policy describes how the "KAT" mobile application (the "App") collects, uses, and protects user information.

1. Information We Collect

The KAT App collects minimal data necessary for operation:

• KAT Device Data: device identifiers, IP addresses, MAC addresses, sensor readings (temperature, humidity), channel settings
• WiFi Settings: network name and password for connecting KAT devices to your router
• Local Settings: interface preferences, sensor reading history

The App does NOT collect:

• Personal data (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Data from other applications

2. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted database. Data is not transmitted to our servers and is not stored in the cloud.

When using the "Share Device" feature, an encrypted code is generated that you manually share with another user.

3. Data Sharing

The App transmits data only to:

• KAT Devices — for control and receiving readings (via WiFi or MQTT)
• MQTT Broker — for remote device control (if you use this feature)

We do not sell, transfer, or disclose your data to third parties.

4. App Permissions

The App requests the following permissions:

• WiFi Access — for connecting to KAT devices and network setup
• Internet Access — for remote control via MQTT
• Local Network — for discovering and communicating with KAT devices

5. Security

We take measures to protect your data:

• WiFi passwords are stored in encrypted form
• The "Share" feature uses encryption
• Data is not transmitted over unsecured channels

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes through an app update. We recommend periodically reviewing this page.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete all App data by:

• Deleting devices within the App
• Clearing App data in iOS Settings
• Uninstalling the App

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access information about stored data
• Delete your data
• Stop using the App
